Threaded Flange · Shanxi HongKai Forging Co., Ltd.
High-precision forged threaded (screwed) flanges manufactured by Shanxi Hongkai Forging — the hometown of forging flanges. NPT / BSP / BSPT threads machined to tight tolerances, available in carbon, alloy, stainless, duplex and nickel-alloy steels. Ideal for low-to-medium pressure piping where welding is not practical.
A Threaded Flange (also called a screwed flange) is a type of pipe flange that has a tapered internal thread (NPT / BSP / BSPT) matching the external thread of the connected pipe. The flange is screwed onto the pipe without welding — making it ideal for hazardous, low-pressure or low-temperature services, or for pipework where welding is impractical.
Threaded flanges are commonly available with a Raised Face (RF) or Flat Face (FF) sealing surface and are typically used up to Class 600 pressure ratings. Higher classes (900 / 1500 / 2500) are also produced on request.

Eliminates the need for on-site welding — ideal for explosive, flammable or low-temperature environments where hot work is prohibited.
Simply screw the flange onto the matching pipe thread. Faster assembly, lower labor cost, easy maintenance and disassembly.
The threaded connection allows fine angular alignment of the pipe before final tightening — perfect for field-fit scenarios.
More economical than weld neck flanges for Class 150 / 300 low-pressure services, especially for small-bore and utility lines.
RF or FF gasket face combined with tapered thread provides leak-tight sealing in standard industrial service conditions.
Available in carbon, alloy, stainless, duplex and nickel-alloy steels to suit corrosive, cryogenic and high-temperature service.

Threaded flanges are widely used across the oil & gas, petrochemical, marine, power and water industries wherever a welded connection is not feasible, not safe, or not cost-effective.
Wellhead assemblies, low-pressure gathering lines, instrument air, drain and vent lines.
Utility piping, cooling water, firewater mains, LPG and LNG auxiliary systems.
Ballast lines, bilge, fuel-oil, sea-water cooling — NDT-friendly threaded joints.
Boiler auxiliary, instrument and sample lines where hot work is restricted.
Municipal water, desalination plant, dosing and chemical injection systems.
Chilled water, hot water, compressed air, fire sprinkler risers.
Located in Shanxi Province, China — the heartland of China's forging industry — Shanxi Hongkai Forging Co., Ltd. has over 30 years of forging experience producing pipe flanges, forged fittings and custom forgings for the world's most demanding projects.
Our integrated facility combines steel smelting, die-forging, heat treatment, precision machining and NDT in-house, giving us full control over quality, lead time and cost. Annual output exceeds 15,000 tons, exported to more than 60 countries.

Our products and quality system are certified to all major international standards, giving you complete confidence in every shipment.

We meet our customers face-to-face at the world's leading exhibitions — and ship to 60+ countries every year.
Export-grade plywood cases, plastic film wrap, palletized loads — sea / air / land delivery worldwide.
Use a threaded flange when the pipe material, service or job-site conditions make welding difficult or dangerous — such as stainless steel service where post-weld heat treatment is impractical, low-pressure utility lines, or hazardous-area installations where hot work is not permitted. For high-pressure, high-temperature or critical-service lines, prefer a weld neck flange.
Standard supply covers ASME B16.5 Class 150, 300 and 600. On request we can produce Class 900, 1500 and even 2500 threaded flanges from high-strength alloy steels such as A182 F11 / F22 / F91.
Yes — full OEM/ODM service. Send us your drawing, sample or detailed specification and our engineering team will quote within 24 hours. We routinely produce to DIN, GOST, JIS and customer-specific standards.
Standard threads are NPT per ASME B1.20.1. BSP and BSPT per ISO 228 / ISO 7 are also available. Special threads (metric, ACME, API line pipe) can be machined on request.
Standard stock sizes in carbon steel ship within 7 days. Custom orders typically take 20–35 days depending on size, material and quantity. We also keep fast-track slots for urgent projects.
Each shipment includes EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 material certificate, dimensional inspection report, NDT report (if requested), commercial invoice, packing list, B/L and any required origin or conformity certificates (CE, GOST, FORM-E, etc.).
